A very fine 56 inch racing Ordinary by Rudge. Built around 1885 this is a very light machine weighing just over 10Kgs. It has half inch tyres mounted on deep section rim to front. The front rim, hub and spokes have been replaced to exact original specification by A.C. Huntington, to the highest standard. Rear wheel is original with a very fine Rudge hub. Narrow moustache bars are fitted with horn ball grips. Oval backbone. Beautiful Rudge racing pedals and cranks. Original racing saddle pan re-covered to correct spec. Hillman, Herbert and Cooper bearings. Fitted with unusual head badge believed to be a French Ducal Crest! It will make a superb museum quality display machine.
