Gilles Berthoud has spent over thirty one years refining his vision of the French touring bicycle - creating custom bikes of the highest standard. Now Gilles has decided to expand his horizons by tackling new products and appointing new representatives worldwide....
Gilles has been making a range of lovingly hand crafted bags in France for some time. Made from water resistant canvas with top skin leather for all the edges and reinforcements there is sure to be a bag for just about every need and design of bicycle.
Gilles has also designed eligant mudguards to suite most bicycles. Choose either from the classic stainless steel models in 700C or 26" or why not take a look at his carbon fibre mudguards. These are extremely light weight and are designed to fit most racing bicycles. These mudguards are a work of art and will compliment many a special bicycle.
The latest addition to the range is Gilles stunning leather saddles, grips, tape, handlebar plugs and mudflaps. Gilles wanted the perfect saddle to compliment his wonderful bicycles, so he set about to design and build his own. He has put all of his knowledge and passion into designing saddles which combine top grade leather with modern support materials. The leather accessories that he has created compliment the saddles and are of course made to the same exacting standards. The range is small to start with but already Gilles has some very exciting ideas for the coming months and years.
