A c.1934 Gentlemans sports tourer built by the lightweight cycle makers "Freddie Grubb" of London. A 20" framed bicycle carrying frame # 5152 with a KB4 Sturmey Archer 'drum braked' 3 speed rear gear.
The bicycle has been renovated completly sometime ago by the previous owner and not been used since. 26" x 1.1/4" wheels with quick release wing nuts on the front hub, williams chainset with ornate rat trap pedals, head clip front forks with lamp bracket, resillion front brake, swan neck handle-bar stem with flat touring handle-bars. rear brake lever is correct for the drum brake, front brake lever is later, but we will supply a correct resillion brake lever to match the front brake for the purchaser. Black Bluemels celluloid "Club Special" mudguards, Brooks 15 leather saddle (this has suffered a brocken nose and has been poorly repaired), Brooks challenge saddle tool bag.
A nice sweet little bicycle from the pre-war days of cycle touring.
