A very interesting tandem bicycle. c.1910 and with 1" inch pitch chain drive, straight front forks which would allow them to be spun or enable the bicycle to be ridden in a circle. The gear ratio is about 2-1 and being fixed wheel means a pair of skilled riders could ride it in reverse. With all these features and the style of early handle bars, we have come to the conclusion that it was probably built for Circus use. A great early machine.
