This charming children's bicycle has a small 19" frame manufactured by the renowned maker Peugeot around 1905.
The 1" Inch Pitch chainset is original with the brand logo of the Peugeot Lion designed into the sprocket, with 6.3/4" cranks (missing the lefthand crank). Fixed wheel hub at the rear with 1" pitch sprocket. The rims are original wooden and house the original silk tyres that are unusable and will need replacement for use. Front wheel is attached with easy to release wing-nuts.
The Peugeot head badge, as shown in the images, is included with the bicycle, it is period but not original to the bicycle. Also the original Leather saddle is fitted. Swooped back handle bars give this early little bicycle a sporting look.
