A massive 28" frame Helical tube Premier from about 1899 or 1900. For total restoration this one. In barn find shed fresh condition. The frame is built using tubing which was produced in a Helical twist ( see images) and built by the Premier Cycle co. Very rusty and a long term project. 1" inch pitch chain set, nice cast thumb lever front brake, original front wheel, (rear wheel is missing, the rear wheel in the images has been added to give a profile for the bicycle and to aid the taking of photographs.)
The rear brake seems to have been a cable opporated brake and the rear brake is with the bicycle along with the cable guides on the frame. A lovely New old stock rear hub with 1" inch pitch sprocket comes with the bicycle along with a pair of sound period 28" x1.1/2" westwood pattern rims enabling the restorer to build the wheels with the original front hub and the period rear hub. The handlebars are of the early flat type and are also original to the bicycle..
Sorry, Too late! It's now sold.....
