Brooks Aged saddles are easier to break-in because the leather has specially formulated waxes and balms skillfully worked into the hide. This results in a more comfortable ride, from day one.
Similar in shape and dimensions to the B17, the Flyer combines the comfort of the popular B17 with the extra suspension granted by two rear springs.

The Aged Saddles are meant for the recreational cyclist or urban commuter, a person who rides for transportation or fun for shorter distances. Due to the more limited use, this cyclist needs a saddle with a more supple leather enabling a shorter break-in time.
The Aged Saddles are built on the same framings as the Classic Saddles. This means that they can be tensioned along their length. Additionally, to keep the two flaps together, the Aged Saddles feature a series of holes on each side and a lace passing though them. This prevents the saddle from opening up, due to the softer leather employed (see pictures).
